Pole Barns

Your building designer will work with you to custom design your new building. Pole barns come in a variety of shapes and sizes. A popular design amongst rural community is the monitor (shown on left). Monitor style buildings have many advantages. These include offering space in the wings for horse stalls, tack and wash rooms or feed storage. Plus, a second floor may be included in the raised center portion. This loft area is typically used for hay or other storage (or even an apartment).

A gable is the most common roof line. Known for its economical design, the gable building typically offers the most value for your investment. Normally designed with 10' or 12' post and truss spacings, this pole barn can fit most any budget. And, these buildings do not have to look like your grandfather's pole barn either. The image on the right shows just a few of the many different available options. Wainscoting (the white panels along lower part of walls) will set your building apart from others at a relatively low cost. This barn also has a flying gable, which angles the overhang out further as it gets closer to the roof peak. On the sidewalls note polycarbonate eave lights, a great natural solution for added interior light.

Riding Arenas

Proper dimensions can be recommended for the most pleasurable riding experience, while keeping to your budget. Partial walls may reduce your building cost, providing you and your horses fresh air and the feel of riding outside, without the perils of rain, snow, or blazing sun.

Arenas can be designed up to a 100’ clearspan width. Eliminating interior poles to work or ride around. Finish the interior by adding kick walls. Have a unique idea?
