Please just say in ain’t true….. https://www.mulligansrun.com/ourbarn.php
I’ve ranted more than once about what I will term as “blow away” carports. These buildings are not permanent structures in any sense of the term, and due to their small footprint, are generally exempt from the requirement of acquiring a Building Permit.

Outside of these light weight carports not being permanent structures and generally lacking the structural integrity to withstand even minimal wind and snow loads, I have some concerns about the horse barns proudly displayed by this particular carport owner.
They include (in no particular order):
These carports are very, very short. I’d hit my head in portions of the horse stall areas! And a horse somehow would not? This owner must have very short stature horses.
Properly designed stall barns should have eave heights of at least 10 feet. You can read the details here: https://www.hansenpolebuildings.com/2012/06/stall-barns/
6’ x 7’ stalls? Okay, these have to be miniature horses (turns out they actually are). No regular full sized horse would fit in one, except maybe diagonally.
If you really want to have stalls which are the right size for horses and require the least amount of cleaning, then here is the scoop for you: https://www.hansenpolebuildings.com/2011/12/horse-stalls/
And even with miniature horses – tiny little aisleways do not make for happy veterinarians or farriers.

Ready for a new stall barn done the right way? Do your homework – visit other working facilities to see what is or is not working. Take the advice of any single individual with a block of salt, somehow one person’s “success” story becomes unrepeatable.
